16 Days of Activism – The Salvation Army
On Day 6 of our 16 Days of Activism campaign we are highlighting the vital work of The Salvation Army in preventing and responding to domestic, family and sexual violence.
The Salvation Army is non-government organisation that offers a range of supports to people experiencing hardship and injustice, including adults and children impacted by domestic and family violence. Based in Darwin, Catherine Booth House is a domestic violence refuge run by The Salvation Army that offers crisis accommodation, outreach case management, specialist counselling and an early intervention program for young people.
Watch Catherine Irving, family and domestic violence team leader at Catherine Booth House, share her insights about what we can all do to bring an end to domestic, family and sexual violence.
